After a long wait Google added a new feature to give publishers a bit more control over the ads. As of today the publisher can choose which font to use on their website(s).
The choices are Arial, Verdana and Times for now, but who knows if and when other choices will be available.

I estimate a greater Ad performance especially for those publishers using Times new roman on their sites.
